New Shoes

The jigger parasite causes pain and will affect the cognitive capacity of children if they are not treated. It used to be a widespread parasite among the school children in the nearby schools. Through outreaches to the schools, staff from Kinondo Kwetu Hospital have treated the children and close to eliminated the occurrence. But, to prevent further cases, it is of vital importance that the children use shoes. However, there are children whose parents have not been able to provide them with shoes. To this end and thanks to a donation, a great number of shoes were distributed to pupils in Kinondo Primary school.
